Position: A - Frame Assembly
Payrate: $24.00/hr
Shift: 5: 00am - 3: 30pm

The Frame Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling structural frames and support components for heat exchangers according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This position ensures that frames are accurately built and prepared for subsequent assembly processes, contributing to the overall quality, durability, and performance of heat exchanger products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble heat exchanger frames, supports, brackets, and structural components according to specifications and production schedules.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions.
Measure, align, and fit components using tape measures, squares, levels, and other measuring instruments.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
Verify dimensional accuracy and proper alignment of frame components before releasing assemblies to the next production stage.
Prepare assemblies for welding, brazing, coil installation, and final assembly operations.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Identify and report material defects, equipment issues, and quality concerns.
Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S standards.
Assist with material handling and movement of frames and components as needed.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or heat exchanger experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Basic knowledge of measuring devices and dimensional tolerances.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to safely handle large frame components and materials.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
