Production Packaging Operator
Pay: $16.00 $16.50 per hour + weekly $40 attendance bonus
Location: Joplin, MO
Shift:
1st Shift: Monday Thursday | 6: 00 AM 4: 00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday Thursday | 3: 30 PM 1: 30 AM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking dependable Production Packaging Operators to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Joplin. This role is responsible for keeping packaging lines running efficiently, palletizing finished products, and ensuring all work meets company quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate is reliable, enjoys hands-on work, and is looking for a stable opportunity with long-term growth potential.
Required Experience & Skills
Reliable transportation and a stable work history
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Ability to follow work instructions, production standards, and safety procedures
Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
Bilingual Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate and maintain packaging line equipment
Palletize finished products and prepare shipments
Serve as a relief operator as production needs require
Monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety policies and required PPE guidelines
Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards
Perform additional production duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous packaging, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new equipment quickly
Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion
Ability to work safely while wearing required PPE, including bump cap, hearing protection, and safety shoes
Work Environment
Fast-paced, non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility
Exposure to industrial equipment and production machinery
Safety-focused environment with strict adherence to GMP standards and PPE requirements
