Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team in Catoosa. This position is responsible for assembling industrial components according to blueprints and work instructions while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and productivity.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, can accurately read measurements and basic drawings, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Ability to speak, read, and understand English
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and blueprints
Experience using hand tools safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assemble components and finished products according to work instructions and production specifications
Read and interpret basic blueprints and assembly drawings
Use hand tools and measuring equipment safely and accurately
Verify proper fit, alignment, and assembly of components before completion
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain production schedules while producing accurate, high-quality work
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
Perform additional assembly and production duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience
Mechanical aptitude and experience working with industrial components
Experience using precision measuring tools
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely use hand tools and work around manufacturing equipment while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a physically active manufacturing environment
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing and assembly facility
Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity
Exposure to assembly equipment, hand tools, industrial machinery, and production operations
