Assembly Technician
Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour
Location: Pryor, OK 74361
Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technicians to join a heavy industrial manufacturing team in Pryor. This position is responsible for assembling metal components, subassemblies, and finished products while maintaining strict production, quality, and safety standards.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys hands-on work, and is comfortable working with tools and production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical or assembly experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production instructions
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Welding or blueprint reading certifications are preferred
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Study assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists before beginning production
• Gather required parts, tools, and materials for assembly operations
• Assemble fabricated parts into subassemblies and finished products according to specifications
• Read work orders and follow production drawings or verbal instructions accurately
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, welders, drills, presses, and other shop equipment
• Perform testing and calibration to verify components meet required tolerances and specifications
• Conduct go/no-go inspections using measuring and testing equipment
• Maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process
• Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements
• Support additional manufacturing and production duties as assigned
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous heavy industrial manufacturing experience
• Welding experience or certification
• Blueprint reading certification or advanced mechanical training
• Experience with production testing and quality inspection procedures
Physical Requirements
• Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs or more
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while wearing required PPE
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial manufacturing environment
Work Environment
• Heavy industrial manufacturing facility
• Exposure to production machinery, fabrication equipment, hand tools, and active manufacturing operations
• Fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity
• Physically demanding role requiring consistent movement and teamwork throughout the workday
