Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Box Header Welder Class A to join a leading manufacturing team in Sapulpa, OK. This role is responsible for fabricating and welding header box assemblies while maintaining strict compliance with ASME welding standards and quality requirements.
The ideal Box Header Welder Class A has extensive header fabrication experience, exceptional welding skills, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality work in a production environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Class A welding experience REQUIRED
Proven experience with header box fabrication and assembly
Strong knowledge of ASME welding standards and procedures
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform root pass welding on header assemblies
Complete end block welding with precision and accuracy
Execute nozzle attachment welding according to specifications
Fabricate and assemble header boxes to engineering and production requirements
Inspect welds to ensure compliance with ASME codes and quality standards
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
Maintain welding equipment and work areas in safe operating condition
Follow all company safety procedures and welding standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing and fabrication environment
Exposure to welding equipment, fabrication tools, heat, and industrial materials
Fast-paced production setting focused on quality, precision, and productivity
Hands-on welding role requiring standing, lifting, and repetitive movement throughout the shift
