Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Brake Press Helper to support brake press operations in a growing manufacturing facility in Claremore. This position assists the Brake Press Operator with machine setup, material handling, quality inspections, and production support while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in metal fabrication and manufacturing.
Required Experience & Skills
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Basic math and mechanical aptitude
Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the Brake Press Operator with loading and unloading metal parts into the brake press
Help set up machines, tooling, and materials for production runs
Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
Move raw materials and finished products throughout the work area
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures, production requirements, and work instructions
Report equipment malfunctions, material issues, or quality concerns to supervisors
Perform additional production and fabrication support duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience
Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
Mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning brake press operations
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely work around fabrication equipment while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment for extended periods
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing and metal fabrication facility
Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity
Exposure to brake press equipment, metal materials, hand tools, and industrial machinery
