Shift: 1st Shift | Monday Friday | 7: 00 AM 3: 30 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team serving the aerospace industry in the Owasso area. This role is ideal for experienced machinists with strong setup expertise who take pride in tight-tolerance work, machine ownership, and producing high-quality precision components.

Required Experience & Skills
5+ years of CNC machining and setup experience REQUIRED
Strong experience performing full CNC lathe setups and machine operation
Ability to machine parts to tight tolerances ( .0003)
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge REQUIRED
Experience selecting tooling and optimizing feeds and speeds
Ability to perform first-piece inspections and precision quality checks
Strong troubleshooting and process improvement skills at the machine
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Programming knowledge (G-code or CAM) is a strong plus
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform full machine setups and operation on CNC lathes (mills are a plus)
Machine complex aerospace components to exact dimensional tolerances
Select tooling and optimize machine performance for efficiency and quality
Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality verification
Troubleshoot machining issues and make machine/process adjustments
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T callouts, and technical specifications
Maintain high production quality with a focus on zero-defect workmanship
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional machining workspace
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
Work Environment
Precision aerospace machining / manufacturing environment
Exposure to CNC equipment, cutting tools, machine oils, production noise, and active machining operations
Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, repetitive machine operation, and PPE compliance
