Job Position: CNC Machinist
Location: Claremore, OK 74019
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Shift:
Description: A CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to manufacture precision parts and components according to specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
Load materials and tools, make machine adjustments, and perform tool changes as needed.
Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced accurately and efficiently.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Maintain required tolerances and quality standards.
Troubleshoot minor machine or production issues and make necessary adjustments.
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Accurately document production and quality records.
Qualifications:
Experience operating CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge of machining tools, materials, and measurement techniques.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
