Skilled Machine Operator
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
AM Shift: 6: 00am - 2: 30pm

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position requires prior hands on experience operating and setting up industrial production equipment. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, safety focused, and capable of working independently to meet production and quality goals.
This is not an entry level position.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and adjust manufacturing machinery according to specifications
Perform machine changeovers, tooling adjustments, and basic calibrations
Monitor production to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met
Inspect parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring tools
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime
Perform routine preventative maintenance and report mechanical concerns
Accurately complete production and quality documentation
Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams
Assist with training or mentoring less experienced operators when needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
3+ years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience with machine setup and adjustments
Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentation
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Experience using precision measuring tools
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CNC, and or lasers, brakes, roll former equipment
Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
Forklift, overhead crane or industrial equipment certification.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift upto 50 lbs
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (noise, heat, moving equipment)
Compensation: DOE base rate, and quarterly profit sharing.
