Location: Tulsa, OK 74131
Shift: Monday Thursday | 6: 00 AM 4: 30 PM (OT Fridays/Saturdays as needed)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A Fitter Welder to join a top-tier fabrication team in Tulsa, OK. This is a high-level fabrication opportunity for welders who can fit, assemble, and weld complex pressure and non-pressure components while meeting strict ASME code and X-ray quality standards.
If you have advanced fitter/welder experience, can work confidently with multiple alloys and welding processes, and want premium pay for your skillset, this is an outstanding long-term opportunity.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 5+ years of fitter/welder experience REQUIRED
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding procedures
Advanced experience with FCAW (Flux Core), SMAW (Stick), and GTAW (TIG)
Ability to weld in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead)
Strong working knowledge of ASME code standards
Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome, and nickel alloys
Ability to perform layout, fitting, cutting, tacking, and fabrication setup work
Proficiency using carbon arc gouging equipment and cutting torches
Ability to meet X-ray and non-destructive testing (NDT) quality standards
Strong math, measurement, and fabrication layout skills
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Fit, align, and assemble pressure vessels, non-pressure components, and structural assemblies
Perform welding on waste heat recovery systems, boiler systems, and heavy industrial fabrication projects
Layout and fit components including cylinders, nozzles, tubes, headers, and structural assemblies
Use leveling equipment to ensure proper alignment and orientation during assembly
Perform welds that meet ASME code, client specifications, and internal quality requirements
Complete welding using GTAW, SMAW, and FCAW processes
Maintain inspection-ready workmanship for X-ray and NDT review
Support additional fabrication, fitting, and shop production tasks as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Testing Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete:
6 Sch 80 6G GTAW (Stringer / Hot Pass) + SMAW Fill / Cap
3G FCAW Plate Test
Fitter Test
Work Environment
Heavy industrial fabrication / manufacturing shop environment
Exposure to welding operations, heavy equipment, high heat, industrial machinery, and fabrication materials
Physically demanding role requiring lifting, standing, climbing, bending, and precision fabrication work
Overtime required based on production demands
