Deburr Associate

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Location: Claremore, OK 74017
Shift: Monday Friday | 4: 00 PM Start

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Deburr Associate to join a growing manufacturing team in Claremore. This position is responsible for deburring, finishing, and inspecting machined metal components to ensure they meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience working with machined parts, precision measuring tools, and finishing equipment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous deburring, finishing, or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined components using hand tools, grinders, files, sanders, and deburring equipment
Inspect finished parts for defects and verify compliance with blueprints and specifications
Measure components using precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy
Perform surface finishing and polishing to meet customer and quality requirements
Identify and report quality concerns, defects, and non-conforming materials
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work closely with machinists, quality inspectors, and production personnel to maintain efficient workflow
Follow all company safety procedures and quality-control standards
Meet production schedules while maintaining exceptional workmanship
Preferred Qualifications
Previous machine shop or metal fabrication experience
Experience with precision finishing and quality inspection
Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and processes
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent use of hand and power tools with repetitive hand movements
Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE
Work Environment
Precision machining and manufacturing facility

Exposure to metal components, grinders, deburring equipment, and industrial machinery
