Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to support a manufacturing team in Broken Arrow, OK on a short-term contract basis. This role requires strong SolidWorks experience and a background working with tanks and heat exchangers. The ideal Mechanical Drafter will be able to contribute immediately in a fast-paced, onsite environment while producing accurate fabrication and mechanical drawings.

Required Experience & Skills
Medium-to-high level proficiency with SolidWorks REQUIRED
Demonstrated experience working with tanks and heat exchangers REQUIRED
Strong understanding of mechanical drafting principles, standards, and fabrication drawings
Ability to create and modify detailed mechanical drawings accurately
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work onsite full-time in a fast-paced environment
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple drawing revisions efficiently
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Create and modify detailed mechanical drawings using SolidWorks
Develop layouts, fabrication drawings, and production documentation for tanks and heat exchangers
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability
Review drawings for completeness, accuracy, and specification compliance
Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and project files
Support production and engineering teams with drafting updates and revisions as needed
Follow company standards and drafting best practices
Work Environment
Manufacturing and engineering office environment
Onsite position requiring collaboration with engineering and production personnel
Computer-based role focused on drafting, design modifications, and documentation control
Fast-paced environment with project deadlines and production support requirements
