Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Header Cleaner to support heat exchanger manufacturing operations in Sapulpa, OK. This role is responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining heat exchanger components to ensure quality, performance, and reliability throughout the production process.
The ideal Header Cleaner is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Comfortable operating cleaning equipment and handling industrial materials
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Clean heat exchanger headers, tubes, and related components by removing deposits, scale, and contaminants
Perform visual inspections to identify blockages, wear, damage, or quality concerns
Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, hydroblasting equipment, and rotary cleaning tools
Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures, including PPE and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements
Handle and apply approved cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines
Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and inspections
Report maintenance concerns and collaborate with technicians and supervisors as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Support production schedules and quality requirements through effective cleaning operations
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing and heat exchanger production environment
Exposure to cleaning chemicals, water pressure equipment, and industrial materials
Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive movement
Fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and production efficiency
