Shift: Monday–Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented Hydro Tester to join a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for performing hydrostatic pressure testing on completed heat exchangers to verify product integrity, identify leaks or defects, and ensure assemblies meet company quality and safety standards before shipment.
The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a quality-focused production environment.
Required Experience & Skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing or production experience required
• Hydrostatic or pressure testing experience preferred
• Ability to read gauges, measurements, and testing specifications accurately
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with pressurized water systems and testing equipment
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform hydrostatic pressure testing on completed heat exchangers and fabricated assemblies
• Monitor pressure levels to verify compliance with engineering and production specifications
• Inspect completed units for leaks, defects, and structural integrity
• Accurately document test results and report any failed tests or quality concerns
• Assist with setup and preparation of units before hydrostatic testing begins
• Drain, dry, tag, and prepare completed units for the next stage of production or shipment
• Maintain hydrostatic testing equipment and ensure proper operation
• Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements
• Perform additional quality assurance and production support duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous hydrostatic or pressure testing experience
• Experience working in heat exchanger, pressure vessel, or industrial manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and production documentation
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using testing equipment
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
• Ability to safely work around pressurized testing equipment while wearing required PPE
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with water systems, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery
Work Environment
• Industrial manufacturing and heat exchanger fabrication facility
• Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and precision testing
• Exposure to hydrostatic testing equipment, industrial machinery, water pressure systems, and production operations
