Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join a growing operation in Oklahoma City, OK. This position combines heavy material handling, sit-down forklift operation, and inventory tracking responsibilities in both outdoor and warehouse environments.
The ideal Material Handler has forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and is comfortable performing physical work in varying weather and temperature conditions.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum of 1 year of sit-down forklift experience REQUIRED
Ability to repeatedly lift and move 50+ lbs throughout the shift
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel experience preferred
Ability to perform accurate data entry and inventory tracking
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Comfortable working outdoors and in a non-climate-controlled warehouse
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, stage, and organize steel drums
Manually lift, move, and handle heavy materials as needed
Perform data entry to track inventory movements and shipments
Utilize Microsoft Excel and company systems to maintain accurate records
Load, unload, and stage materials efficiently and safely
Follow all company safety policies and site procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Support warehouse and yard operations as needed
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more on a regular basis
Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting
Ability to work extended periods indoors and outdoors
Comfortable working in varying weather and temperature conditions
Work Environment
Outdoor yard and non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
Exposure to varying weather conditions, equipment, and material handling operations
Physically active role requiring forklift operation and manual labor
Safety-focused industrial environment
