Shift: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking skilled MIG / Flux Core Welders to join a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for producing high-quality welds on metal components and assemblies while maintaining strict quality, safety, and production standards.
This is a temporary opportunity with the potential to become a long-term temp-to-hire position for candidates who demonstrate exceptional workmanship, attendance, and reliability.
Required Experience & Skills
• Ability to successfully pass a 4G MIG & Flux Core Weld Test
• Previous welding experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Commitment to workplace safety and production standards
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform 4G MIG (GMAW) and Flux Core (FCAW) welding on metal components and fabricated assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding specifications, and production drawings
• Set up and safely operate welding equipment according to production requirements
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications
• Utilize grinders, hand tools, and fabrication equipment to prepare and finish welded components
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies, welding procedures, and quality requirements
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining consistent workmanship and accuracy
• Perform additional welding and fabrication duties as assigned
Weld Test Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete:
• 4G MIG Weld Test
• 4G Flux Core Weld Test
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous structural or production welding experience
• Experience working in industrial manufacturing or fabrication environments
• Familiarity with fabrication equipment and welding inspection standards
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
• Ability to safely work around welding equipment, heat, sparks, and industrial machinery while wearing required PPE
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and fabrication environment
Work Environment
• Heavy industrial manufacturing and fabrication facility
• Exposure to welding equipment, fabrication machinery, heat, sparks, industrial noise, and heavy materials
• Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity
