Location: Tulsa, OK Area
Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to join a busy industrial fabrication team. This position is responsible for installing, assembling, fitting, and repairing piping systems according to blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
The ideal candidate has previous pipe fitting experience, strong blueprint reading and measuring skills, and the ability to accurately prepare and assemble piping systems while maintaining high standards for safety and quality.
Required Experience & Skills
• Previous pipe fitting experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, fittings, and installation techniques
• Experience measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipe
• Ability to safely use pipe fitting tools and fabrication equipment
• Strong measuring and layout skills
• Excellent attention to detail and dimensional accuracy
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Install, assemble, fit, and repair piping systems according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders
• Measure and lay out pipe and components prior to fabrication
• Cut, thread, bend, and prepare pipe using hand and power tools
• Fit and align piping components according to required dimensions
• Select and install appropriate fittings and related components
• Perform pressure testing and inspections of completed piping systems
• Verify dimensions, alignment, and overall quality throughout the fitting process
• Identify and correct fit-up or installation issues as needed
• Safely operate pipe fitting and fabrication equipment
• Work closely with Welders, Fabricators, and other trades to complete projects
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements
• Perform additional pipe fitting and fabrication duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
• Industrial pipe fabrication experience
• Advanced blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills
• Experience with multiple types of pipe, fittings, and piping systems
• Pipe layout and fabrication experience
• Pressure testing experience
• Tack welding or pipe welding experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication shop
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and working around piping assemblies
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment while wearing required PPE
• Comfortable performing physically demanding pipe fitting and fabrication work throughout the workday
Work Environment
• Industrial pipe fabrication and manufacturing environment
• Hands-on work involving piping systems, fittings, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Regular blueprint reading, measuring, cutting, threading, bending, and fit-up responsibilities
• Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, dimensional accuracy, quality, and productivity
• Team-oriented workplace requiring coordination with Welders, Fabricators, and other skilled trades
