Pay: $24.00–$28.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime: Available

Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking experienced Pipe Welders to join a skilled industrial fabrication team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for producing high-quality pipe welds, performing occasional structural welding, and completing fabrication work according to blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
The ideal candidate has strong pipe welding experience, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented fabrication environment. Experience with 6G rolling on stainless steel is highly preferred.
Required Experience & Skills
• Previous pipe welding experience required
• Strong MIG and Flux Core welding skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding specifications
• Ability to successfully complete the required on-site weld test
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to weld quality
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Previous industrial or fabrication experience preferred
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform high-quality pipe welding according to project specifications
• Perform occasional structural welding as production needs require
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
• Prepare materials and components for welding operations
• Perform MIG root passes and Flux Core fill and cap passes as required
• Maintain consistent weld quality throughout production
• Inspect completed welds for appearance, accuracy, and visible defects
• Identify and correct welding or fabrication issues as needed
• Safely operate welding machines, grinders, and related fabrication equipment
• Work with supervisors and team members to complete projects efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and welding requirements
• Perform additional pipe welding and fabrication duties as assigned
Weld Test Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete an on-site weld test consisting of:
• 3-inch Stainless Steel Pipe
• MIG Root
• Flux Core Fill and Cap
• Visual Inspection Only
Preferred Qualifications
• 6G rolling experience on stainless steel
• Advanced pipe welding experience
• Stainless steel fabrication experience
• Strong MIG root and Flux Core skills
• Previous industrial or heavy fabrication experience
• Structural welding experience
• Advanced blueprint and welding specification interpretation skills
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and working in various welding positions
• Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment while wearing required PPE
• Comfortable working around pipe, structural steel, welding equipment, grinders, heat, sparks, and industrial machinery
• Ability to perform physically demanding fabrication work throughout the workday
Work Environment
• Industrial pipe welding and fabrication environment
• Hands-on work involving stainless steel pipe, welding equipment, grinders, and fabrication tools
• Fast-paced production setting focused on safety, weld quality, and craftsmanship
• Team-oriented workplace requiring coordination with Welders, Fabricators, supervisors, and production personnel
