Pay: $17.00 per hour
Location: Claremore, OK 74017
Shift: Weekend Shift | Friday Sunday | 6: 00 AM 6: 30 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and hardworking candidates for a Plasma Helper position in Claremore, OK. This role supports plasma cutting operations by assisting with material setup, machine support, and finishing tasks in a fast-paced fabrication environment. The ideal Plasma Helper is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working hands-on with metal materials and industrial equipment.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build manufacturing and fabrication experience while working a condensed weekend schedule with long-term career potential.
What You ll Be Doing
Assist with operating plasma cutting equipment to cut metal materials to specification
Load and unload materials onto cutting tables
Position and align materials properly before cutting operations
Remove finished parts and separate scrap materials
Grind, clean, and deburr parts after cutting as needed
Read work orders, drawings, and basic blueprints
Measure materials using tape measures and related tools
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Support operators and production teams to meet daily goals
Required Experience & Skills
Basic knowledge of manufacturing or fabrication environments
Ability to use hand tools and grinders safely
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
Ability to lift, move, and handle metal materials throughout the shift
Comfortable working in a shop or industrial environment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous plasma cutting or fabrication experience
Familiarity with metal types and material thicknesses
Experience with grinding, deburring, or finishing metal parts
