Shift: Monday Friday | 5: 00 AM Start (hours may vary)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Powder Coating Technician to join a manufacturing team in Claremore, OK. This role is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal components to ensure durable, high-quality finishes that meet production and customer standards.

Required Experience & Skills
Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred
Knowledge of surface preparation, coating application, and finishing processes
Ability to read and follow work orders, production instructions, and specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong commitment to workplace safety and PPE compliance
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare parts for coating including cleaning, masking, hanging, blasting, and surface prep
Operate powder coating equipment, spray guns, and related finishing tools
Apply coatings to meet required coverage, finish, and thickness specifications
Load and unload parts into curing ovens and monitor cure cycles
Inspect finished products for defects, consistency, and quality compliance
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of coating equipment, booths, and tools
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines, quality expectations, and efficiency goals
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Preferred Experience
Experience with manual or automated powder coating lines
Forklift or overhead crane experience
Familiarity with coating thickness gauges, inspection tools, and quality verification processes
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing / finishing environment
Exposure to coating materials, heat, curing ovens, industrial equipment, and active production operations
Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, repetitive movement, and strict PPE compliance
