Shift: Monday Friday | 4: 00PM - 3: 30am

Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team in Claremore. This position is responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and industry requirements.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, experience using precision measuring equipment, and a commitment to maintaining quality while supporting continuous process improvement.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing, or inspection experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills and ability to maintain quality documentation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production teams
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications
Perform visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or products
Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections
Verify product dimensions using calipers, micrometers, gauges, tape measures, and other inspection tools
Collaborate with production personnel to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes
Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions when defects are identified
Follow all company quality procedures, safety policies, and regulatory requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing or fabrication industry experience
Knowledge of ISO quality standards and quality management systems
Experience inspecting welded, machined, or fabricated components
Experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is a plus
ASQ certification is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movement throughout the shift
Ability to perform detailed visual inspections for extended periods
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around production equipment while wearing required PPE
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing and fabrication facility
Fast-paced production environment focused on quality, precision, and continuous improvement
Exposure to production equipment, fabricated materials, and industrial machinery
Team-oriented workplace emphasizing safety, accuracy, and product excellence
