Shift: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Saw Operator for a first-shift manufacturing opportunity in Claremore. This position is responsible for safely operating saw equipment, accurately measuring and cutting materials, and maintaining established quality standards throughout the production process.
Strong math and measurement skills are essential for this position. Candidates must complete a math assessment and achieve a score of 80% or higher to qualify.
Previous manufacturing or saw-operation experience is preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Set up saw equipment for assigned production work
• Safely operate applicable saw machinery
• Review cutting requirements before beginning work
• Measure materials accurately
• Mark materials for cutting as required
• Cut materials to specified dimensions
• Verify measurements before and after cutting
• Load materials into saw equipment
• Unload completed materials
• Inspect completed cuts for quality and accuracy
• Identify incorrectly cut or defective materials
• Maintain consistent production output
• Handle and stage materials safely
• Keep saw equipment and surrounding work areas clean and organized
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Perform additional production duties as assigned
Saw Operation & Cutting
Candidates may regularly perform:
• Saw setup
• Material positioning
• Measuring and marking
• Production cutting
• Material loading and unloading
• Dimensional verification
• Finished-part inspection
• General production support
Accuracy is important to ensure materials are cut correctly and unnecessary scrap is minimized.
Math Assessment Requirement
Strong shop math skills are required.
Candidates must achieve a score of 80% or higher on the required math assessment.
Candidates should be comfortable working with basic manufacturing math and measurements as required for accurate material cutting.
Measurement Responsibilities
Candidates must be able to:
• Accurately use measuring tools
• Measure materials before cutting
• Verify dimensions
• Follow specified measurements
• Check completed cuts for accuracy
• Identify measurement discrepancies
• Maintain consistent dimensional quality
Quality Responsibilities
• Inspect materials before and after cutting
• Verify completed parts meet applicable measurements

• Communicate material or quality concerns promptly

Screening Requirements
Candidates must meet the required pre-employment screening standards, including:
• Drug screen – green status required
• Clean background required
• Math assessment – minimum score of 80% required
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to safely lift, move, and position materials as required
• Manual dexterity required for measurement and machine operation
• Comfortable performing repetitive production work
• Ability to safely work around saws and industrial machinery
• Ability to wear all required PPE
Work Environment
• Industrial manufacturing environment
• Regular work around saw equipment, materials, measuring tools, and production machinery
• Hands-on position involving measuring, cutting, inspection, and material handling
• Consistent Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 4:00 PM schedule
• Four-day regular workweek
• Strong emphasis on measurement accuracy, safety, quality, productivity, and dependable attendance
