Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Shift: 7: 00am - 3: 30

Shipping & Receiving Associate
Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7: 00 AM - 3: 30 PM
Overtime: As needed, starting as early as 6: 00 AM and extending to 4: 30 PM or later. Weekend work may be required.

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for the receipt, inspection, storage, preparation, and shipment of materials and finished products. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, have strong attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills when interacting with truck drivers, delivery personnel, and internal team members.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks safely and efficiently.
Receive shipments and verify materials against purchase orders before acceptance.
Inspect incoming parts and components for accuracy and quality.
Measure machined parts and compare them to blueprint specifications when required.
Build and pack bolt boxes and other shipment kits according to shipping lists.
Ensure all required components are included in shipments before loading.
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
Use hand tools and air tools as needed.
Maintain accurate paperwork and shipping/receiving records.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Participate in facility cleaning duties, including shop, breakroom, and restroom cleaning on a rotating basis.

Required Qualifications
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16".
Experience using hand tools and air tools.
Ability to operate or learn to operate a sit-down forklift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
Reliable attendance and ability to follow established procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D blueprints.
Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience.

Work Environment & Expectations
Steel-toed boots/shoes are required.
All other required PPE will be provided.
