Shop Helper
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Location: Sapulpa, OK 74066
Shift: Monday Friday | 6: 00 AM 4: 30 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Shop Helper to join a growing fabrication team in Sapulpa. This position provides hands-on support to skilled craftsmen by assisting with material handling, operating shop equipment, and helping maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
The ideal candidate has basic fabrication experience, enjoys working in an industrial setting, and is eager to learn new skills while supporting daily production operations.
Required Experience & Skills
Basic fabrication or manufacturing shop experience preferred
Ability to safely operate overhead cranes, power tools, and shop equipment
Ability to read and write basic shop communications
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Willingness to learn shop drawings and bills of material (BOMs)
Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and team-oriented attitude
Ability to learn new skills and follow work instructions
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist craftsmen with assigned fabrication and production tasks
Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment safely when authorized
Support material handling and movement throughout the facility
Maintain productivity and workmanship in accordance with company standards
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and required PPE guidelines
Maintain clean, organized work areas while supporting 5S initiatives
Assist with shop setup, cleanup, and production support duties as assigned
Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects safely and efficiently
Preferred Qualifications
Previous fabrication, warehouse, or industrial manufacturing experience
Experience operating overhead cranes or forklifts
Familiarity with fabrication tools and equipment
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to grow into skilled trades
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement throughout the shift
Ability to safely work around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, and industrial machinery
Comfortable working in an active fabrication environment
Work Environment
Industrial fabrication facility
Fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
Exposure to overhead cranes, forklifts, welding operations, power equipment, and heavy materials
This position is classified as Safety Sensitive and requires strict adherence to all safety procedures and PPE requirements
