Location: Sapulpa, OK 74066
Shift: Monday Friday | 5: 00 AM 3: 30 PM (Occasional Saturdays)

Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Structural Welder to join a production facility in Sapulpa. This position is responsible for performing structural steel welding and fabrication while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate has experience with structural welding, fabrication equipment, and material handling, and is committed to producing high-quality welds that meet company and customer specifications.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 1 year of structural welding experience or graduation from an accredited welding program
Experience performing MIG (GMAW) and Flux Core (FCAW) welding
Ability to operate plasma cutters, oxy-fuel cutting equipment, and AC/DC welding machines
Experience working in a fabrication or production environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Ability to safely operate overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform structural MIG (GMAW) and Flux Core (FCAW) welding on structural steel components
Set up and adjust welding equipment according to job specifications
Complete fillet welds, tack welds, and full-penetration welds as required
Clean, grind, and prepare welded materials for final inspection or additional fabrication
Operate overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment safely
Inspect completed welds for quality, structural integrity, and compliance with specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Report equipment malfunctions, material defects, or quality concerns to supervisors
Follow all company welding procedures, safety policies, and production standards
Weld Test Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete the following weld test:
3G Butt Plate Test (Flux Core fill and cap with back gouge and single-pass root)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous structural steel fabrication experience
Experience reading blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
Familiarity with AWS welding standards
Experience operating industrial fabrication equipment and heavy material handling systems
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely work around welding equipment, heavy steel, sparks, heat, and industrial machinery while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a physically demanding fabrication environment
Work Environment
Heavy industrial fabrication and manufacturing facility
Exposure to welding equipment, heavy steel materials, overhead cranes, fabrication machinery, noise, and industrial shop conditions
Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork
Occasional Saturday work based on production demands
