Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour (DOE) + $2.00/hour Shift Differential
Location: Sapulpa, OK 74066
Shift: Monday–Friday | 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM

Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking experienced Structural Welders to join a growing fabrication team in Sapulpa. This position is responsible for welding and assembling structural steel components while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate has structural welding experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to consistently produce quality welds that meet company and customer specifications.
Required Experience & Skills
• Minimum 2 years of structural welding experience required
• Experience performing MIG (GMAW) and Flux Core (FCAW) welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Ability to successfully complete the required weld tests
• Fitting experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform MIG (GMAW) and Flux Core (FCAW) welding on structural steel components
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding specifications
• Assemble, fit, and weld structural components according to engineering requirements
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy
• Maintain production efficiency while meeting quality standards
• Operate welding equipment and fabrication tools safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures, welding standards, and production requirements
• Perform additional fabrication and welding duties as assigned
Weld Test Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete:
• 2G MIG Horizontal Weld Test (Bend Test)
• 2G Flux Core Weld Test (Radiograph)
• ½-inch Plate Double Bevel with Backing Bar
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous structural steel fabrication experience
• Fitting and layout experience
• Experience working in heavy industrial manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of structural welding procedures and fabrication practices
Physical Requirements
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
• Ability to safely work around welding equipment, heavy steel, heat, sparks, and industrial machinery while wearing required PPE
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding fabrication environment

• Heavy industrial fabrication and manufacturing facility
• Exposure to welding equipment, heavy steel materials, fabrication machinery, heat, sparks, and industrial noise
