Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour (DOE)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Some Weekends Required)

Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking experienced Structural Welders to join a growing industrial fabrication team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for welding structural steel components in multiple positions while ensuring completed work meets established quality, safety, and production standards.
The ideal candidate has structural welding experience, can read blueprints and welding symbols, and is confident welding in flat, uphill, and downhill positions.
Required Experience & Skills
• Previous structural welding experience preferred
• Ability to successfully pass a visual weld test in flat, uphill, and downhill positions
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Commitment to workplace safety and production standards
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform structural welding on steel components according to production specifications
• Weld in flat, uphill, and downhill positions as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols
• Set up and safely operate welding equipment
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy
• Identify and report welding or material concerns to supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies, welding procedures, and production requirements
• Perform additional welding and fabrication duties as assigned
Weld Test Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete a visual weld test demonstrating the ability to weld in:
• Flat position
• Uphill position
• Downhill position
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous structural steel fabrication experience
• Experience working in an industrial or heavy manufacturing environment
• Strong blueprint and weld symbol reading skills
• Familiarity with fabrication tools and material handling equipment
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and working in multiple welding positions
• Ability to safely work around welding equipment, heavy steel, heat, sparks, and industrial machinery while wearing required PPE
• Comfortable performing physically demanding fabrication work throughout the shift
Work Environment
• Industrial shop and fabrication environment
• Exposure to welding equipment, heat, noise, heavy steel, and industrial machinery
• PPE required at all times in designated production areas
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands
